Jash Ahuja

I'm in Year 10 in Sydney. I design things, then I build them.

Design engineer is the shortest way to say what I do: I decide how something should look, move and feel, then I write the software that makes it real. Neither half gets handed to someone else.

I build with AI coding agents the way a lead runs a team. I choose the problem, design the system and the data model, direct the agents and debug what they get wrong. I only ship what passes the tests. The agents type fast; the judgement is mine.

Security is the other half. I compete in capture-the-flag and write my own challenges, and when I found a real leak in a live startup, I reported it privately with the fix instead of using it.

Nobody logged entry to the comms bay that night.

The record

Krosbo Technologies
I am its chief technology officer.
Mighty Kailasha
I am their tech consultant, and I built their Kailash Yatra pilgrimage site.
Campfire Sydney
I organised Campfire Sydney, the largest Campfire hackathon in the world: 380 people.
PECAN+ CTF
In the PECAN+ capture-the-flag my team placed 1st of all the ADF teams, 8th nationally and 2nd in NSW. I also write my own CTF challenges, including one that boots an old Linux kernel in QEMU for a real privilege escalation.
CSECcon CTF
3rd place, CSECcon CTF, UTS (2026). Invited to the ADF Cyber Skills Challenge (invite only, November 2026).
Responsible disclosure
In 2026 I found a live startup's database readable through its public key, exposing customers' emails and paid content. I reported it privately with the fix; the founder thanked me. Read how
